The Course
The race starts at Cadbury’s Sports Ground, Somerdale, Keynsham. The course makes an initial circuit up the drive, along Chandos Road and back into Cadbury’s grounds. After leaving the grounds for the second time, it turns left into the High Street and then right into Charlton Road. There is a gentle climb for approximately 3½ kilometres until it turns left into Redlynch Lane (opposite the junction to Queen Charlton). The first water stop is a short way along this road. The route then runs down into Chewton Keynsham, through the village and up to the Wellsway, going left and along for approximately 300 metres where there is another water station before turning left down Steel Mills, over Dapps Hill bridge and sharp right into Keynsham park. It then goes under Bath Hill bridge and across the park to Station Road. Turn right and go down the Cadbury’s main drive to the finish.
